Mya King

Sparrows Point, senior

Emily Konkus

Hereford, senior

Konkus is a solid runner who helped the Bulls edge Harford Tech by two points indoors for their fifth state title. She finished second in the Class 2A 1,600 and third in the 800.

Bronwyn Patterson

South River, sophomore

After winning a Class 4A state title in cross country, Patterson came through again indoors. She won the 800 in the Anne Arundel County title meet, the East Region meet and the state meet (2:20.09) and also took the 1,600 at the states (5:03.88).

Jada Seaman

McDonogh, junior

Seaman can give the Eagles points in many ways. She can deliver on the track (sprints and relays) and in field events (long jump), helping McDonogh win the IAAM A Conference title indoors this winter.

A meeting before Calvert Hall won the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference indoor track title clearly demonstrated to Cardinals coach Peter Frein that this group ran and thought like a team.

Adaobi Tabugbo

Bella Whittaker

Mount de Sales, junior

Whittaker and her sister (Juliette) really have given Mount de Sales a huge lift. Bella won the 300 (39.36) and the 500 (1:18:98) at the IAAM A Conference title meet.

Juliette Whittaker

Mount de Sales, freshman
