On Sunday, the 6-foot-4 prospect from Cape Henry Collegiate School in Virginia Beach announced his intention to reclassify to 2013 and commit to Virginia. Hall, who spoke to the Daily Press about his decision, chose the Cavaliers overGeorgia, Florida, Maryland, Miami, Memphis, Iowa, Oregon State, Virginia Tech and Winthrop.
"My family being so comfortable with the decision and the opportunity I have to come in and work my hardest to make an impact right away were the two biggest reasons," said Hall regarding why he chose U.Va. "Also, you're not going to find a better academic school than U.Va. That was important to me."
As he has only visited local schools in Maryland and Georgetown, Wiley is planning to visit Miami and Rutgers in August. While it is still early in the recruitment of the Potomac star, he says that Maryland is standing out the most to him right now.
* The Terps women's program landed a commitment Saturday from Hopewell (Pa.) High guard/forward Shatori Walker-Kimbrough.
Walker-Kimbrough chose Maryland -- a perennial power that advanced to the Elite Eight last season -- over a dozen other scholarship offers. She also was considering Purdue and Duquesne. She made an unofficial visit to Maryland this past weekend and committed on her return home.
