Player of the Year
Lauriann Parker, Glenelg
Speedy and possessing excellent stick skills, the senior forward made fast breaks look easy with her ability to move the ball smoothly through traffic. Parker, who scored 19 goals and had 24 assists this season, broke every school career scoring record. She finished with 50 goals and 43 assists in four years. This fall, she led the Gladiators to a share of the Howard County championship and state Class 1A final.
Coach of the Year
Ginger Kincaid, Glenelg
Kincaid guided the Gladiators to an unbeaten season in Howard and a share of the county title. She moved her veterans around until she had just the right combination.
