Morgan Koopman, McDonogh
Koopman, who has an 8- handicap, suffered only one loss in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland A Conference to powerhouse Roland Park. In the IAAM golf championship, Koopman scored a 78 to win the title, and she was named an IAAM All-Star.
Koopman, a junior, plans to compete in several events this summer, including tournaments in Maryland at the Suburban Club, Turf Valley Country Club and Oakmont Green.
"Morgan is a delightful young lady on and off of the course," McDonogh coach Diane Young said. "She is tons of fun but a serious competitor once a match commences."
