Performer of the Year
Dwight Parker
WoodlawnComing off a tremendous season in cross country in which he won every race until finishing second in the Class 4A state championship, Parker maintained his winning ways in the winter.
He swept the 800, 1,600 and 3,200 with ease at the Baltimore County meet last month. The senior, whose younger brother Duane is a track standout at Mount St. Joseph, then took second in the 3,200 at the regional meet before struggling at the state meet and taking sixth place.
Coaches of the Year

Pikesvilleand Chris McGuiness
The Panthers have never been a track powerhouse, but Filosa and McGuiness are building something good at the school. Pikesville finished fourth in the county, third in the regional and fourth in the Class 2A-1A state meet.
The coaches altered the team's training schedule this season to give the Panthers a better shot at peaking heading into the state meet. That change paid off, as Pikesville was only a few points out of first late in the state meet before finishing fourth.
