• Set state private school record with time of 34.88 in 300, breaking own record, defending title from 2009; had to sit out Nike Nationals earlier this month because of thigh problem
Robbie Creese
• One of state's top distance runners in any class in track or cross country
• Won 800-, 1,600-, 3,200-meter runs all in same day at Class 2A state title meet
• Came away with same hat trick at Class 2A Central championship meet
• Finished in second place in 1,600 at Howard County meet
Corey Cutler
• Selected boys Athlete of the Year by Baltimore County indoor track coaches
• Versatile athlete who excels at 300 and 500, plus field events like high jump
• Won 300 and 500 at Baltimore County championship meet; took fifth in that meet in high jump
• Finished third in 500, fourth in 300, and fifth in high jump at Class 1A state meet
Matt Jablonski
• Runner of the Year in cross country; won two more championships this winter in MIAA competition
• Captured 1,600 and 3,200 in MIAA championship meet this winter as Dons finished third overall
• Won two-mile run at Mid-Atlantic Track in February at Prince George's Sports and Learning Complex
• Will make choice between running and soccer in college; played both sports in fall for Loyola
Miguel Narine
• Played important role in Northwestern's surprise second-place finish in Class 1A state title meet
• Won 500 with time of 1:09.02, edging teammate Jerome Hill (1:09.23) for top spot
• Ran on victorious 1,600 and 3,200 relays
• Scored 30 of team's 63 points as Northwestern finished six points behind champion Carver
Jawan Parker
• Played major role in helping Carver sweep Baltimore City, region, Class 1A state championships
• Won 55 and ran on winning 800-relay team as Carver (69.83 points) edged Northwestern (63) for team title
• In second season of running indoor track, helped Carver win 800 relay at state meet
• Ran anchor leg at state meet; made great sprint after Bears were behind by 15 yards on final leg
Kikanae Punyua
• One of metro area's biggest surprises in distance running throughout cross country and indoor track seasons
• Came to United States from Kenya in late August and decided to try running; took sixth in state last fall in cross country
• Went undefeated in 3,200 this winter, winning Class 3A state title
• Earned All-America status at National Scholastic Indoor championships in New York; ran personal best of 9:16, beating previous time by 20 seconds
Matthew Rever
• Won 800 and 1,600 in Baltimore County championship meet as Dulaney finished second overall behind Hereford
• Won same events in Class 4A Central Region meet, helping Lions also take second there

Ryan Sullivan

• Improved by whole foot over last year, when he took third in state Class 2A competition
