The Eagle had one of the most meaningful weeks of his career when he helped his Owings Mills team remain undefeated (13-0) by scoring four match wins. Mack, who has been wrestling since he was 3, competes in the 103-pound weight class. Against Franklin, he moved up to 112 and gave away nearly 14 pounds to his opponent but pulled out a 5-4 win. Then, over the weekend at the Franklin tournament, he pinned all three of his opponents, earning a total of six bonus points, to anchor No. 7 Owings Mills to the overall team title by one point over No. 10 Hereford. Mack is a 15-year-old sophomore and is 20-1 this season.
