The 6-foot-4 junior guard led the No. 1 Knights (23-2) to their second straight Class 2A state championship, scoring a team-high 19 points in Saturday's 56-45 win over Gwynn Park in the title game. Faust, who transferred from John Carroll this season, opened the tournament with 21 points in City's 64-38 semifinal win over Easton on Friday. He shot 55 percent from the field - including 3-for-5 from behind the 3-point line - and added two blocked shots and two steals. One of the area's top perimeter shooters, he ended the season as the Knights' leading scorer, averaging 19.5 points to go with 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists.
