Miller turned 17 last week and celebrated with a championship at the Mule Classic in Quarryville, Pa. After a bye in the first round, the junior advanced to the 160-pound championship match with a pin and a technical fall (18-2) and then faced off against Colonial Forge's Scott Reilly, ranked 17th in the nation according to USA Wrestling. Miller won, 3-0, to take the title. "He's a tempo-controlling wrestler with great body awareness," John Carroll coach Keith Watson said. Miller, 5-0 this season with four pins, said: "From the outside, it doesn't appear I'm doing very much. But in reality, I'm really doing a lot. I'm fast, and I work hard." Miller carries a 3.6 grade-point average.
