The 5-foot-7 junior point guard earned the Individual Hustle Award at the Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C., for his performance in the four-game tournament. Williams, who was also named to the all-tournament team, averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 steals while shooting 55 percent from the field. He helped guide the Panthers to a 68-55 win over Mount St. Joseph in the consolation final. Williams was also a standout performer at the City of Palms Classic in Fort Myers, Fla., the week before. ESPN.com's John Stovall wrote that "Williams is a streaky shooter who is exceptional when his shot is falling, which it was [Dec. 22] as he hit for 22 points with eight assists." He was an All-Baltimore City first-team selection last season.
