Justin Murdock, Meade
Murdock was one of the nation's top sprinters last winter with Glen Burnie, and he repeated the feat this year after transferring to Meade.
The senior capped the indoor season by finishing second in the 55 and third in the 200 in the National Scholastic meet in New York two weeks ago.
Murdock took second in the 55 and 300 in the Class 3A state meet to help Meade win the title, and he was ranked nationally in several events this winter.
Coach of the Year
Nigel Holder Meade
He guided the Mustangs to the Class 3A indoor state title this past winter after having led them to the Class 4A outdoor crown last spring.
Holder had a solid group of talent, which he molded into a team that knew how to score points in all kinds of places. The Mustangs won the indoor title despite winning just one event, showing just how much depth they had.
