Gilman junior defensive tackle Henry Poggi is ranked the No. 71 high school football prospect for the 2013 season, according to the Offense-Defense Sports Top 435 released Thursday.
The group that puts on the annual Offense-Defense All-American Bowl ranked the players "based on their production, level of competition, coaching feedback, tape evaluation, and more."
Poggi, the 6-foot-3, 250-pound son of Gilman coach Biff Poggi, had 10 sacks and 49 tackles as a junior this past fall, earning All-Metro honors.
He's joined on the Offense-Defense Top 435 by Gilman All-Metro outside linebacker Micah Kiser (ranked No. 246) and Calvert Hall athlete Delando Johnson (No. 310).
