Threat of more icy weather postpones Tuesday's basketball sectionals, state swim meet

The threat of more icy weather prompted some schools close early and all to cancel afternoon activities, which will postpone the basketball playoffs and the state Class 4A-3A swimming championships.

Baltimore City, Baltimore County and Carroll County schools closed an hour or two early and Anne Arundel, Harford and Howard counties also canceled afternoon activities.
