Atholton, forward, senior
A returning All-Metro first-team pick, Day finished with 21 goals and five assists in her first season on offense in 2012. She played an integral role in the Raiders' run to the Class 3A state championship — the first in school history.
Maeve Doherty
Severna Park, defender, senior
A standout defender who played a critical role in the Falcons' transition game, Doherty was an All-Metro first-team and all-state selection last season. After graduating from Severna Park, she plans to continue her career at Columbia.
Linnea Gonzales
Patterson Mill, midfielder, junior
An all-state first-team choice in 2012, Gonzales is now in her second year on the U.S. under-17 junior national squad. She finished with eight goals and 22 assists for Patterson Mill last season after making the All-Metro second team as a freshman in 2011.
Bayly Jarrett
Garrison Forest, forward, senior
The No. 1 Grizzlies' top offensive threat, she ended last season with 22 goals and an assist. Jarrett, who may play more midfield this season, had nine two-goal games as Garrison Forest went undefeated and won its third straight IAAM A Conference title.
Kelly Johnson
Glenelg Country, goalie, senior
The only local player picked for the 2014 U.S. under-19 junior national team, Johnson will take the spotlight this season after splitting time in goal a year ago with All-Metro second-team selection Sarah Bates.
Maggie Kaulius
Archbishop Spalding, midfielder, senior
With blazing speed and outstanding stick work, Kaulius' responsibilities include advancing the ball from the defensive end to set up the Cavaliers' attack. She has committed to play lacrosse at Penn State.
Rachel Park
Bryn Mawr, midfielder, senior
A two-time U.S. Junior Olympian, Park made the Futures Elite national squad this summer. She excelled primarily as a defensive midfielder last season for the Mawrtians, earning all-state second-team honors.
Morgan Philie
Glenelg, midfielder, senior
The returning All-Metro first-team and all-state choice has been a key cog in the Gladiators' three straight Class 2A state titles. She finished with 17 goals and 13 assists last season, earning a spot on the All-America third team.
Sabrina Rhodes
C. Milton Wright, midfielder, junior
With 11 goals and 11 assists for the Mustangs last season, Rhodes was picked for the All-Metro second team and earned honorable mention honors for the all-state squad. She had at least one point in 12 of C. Milton Wright's 16 games.
Anna Wagner
South River, midfielder, senior
With four goals and seven assists last season, she played a role in the Seahwawks' Class 4A state championship. Coaches praise Wagner, who earned all-state honorable mention honors, for her strong stick work and powerful hits.
