Archbishop Spalding boys lacrosse coach Kenneth 'Bear' Davis has stepped down after accepting a full-time position with Major League Lacrosse's Ohio Machine.

Davis, a Columbus, Ohio, native, spent three seasons at Spalding and posted a 25-31 record competing in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference.

The Cavaliers finished 7-12 last season. Spalding Director of Athletics, Jeff Parsons, said the school is still searching for a replacement.

Davis was named the Machine's vice president and head coach. He had been head coach, a part-time job, since June 2013.
