River Hill senior forward Charlie Thomas IV has been selected to play in the 42nd Annual Capital Classic High School All-Star Game, a national boys basketball showcase set for April 24 at Catholic University's DuFour Center.
Thomas, who has committed to Wisconsin, will play for the Capital All-Stars as they take on the U.S. All-Stars. Game time is set for 8 p.m.
In earning All-Metro first-team honors this season, Thomas averaged 23.2 points and 11.3 rebounds. The four-year standout finished his career as the Hawks' all-time leader in points (1,717), rebounds (887) and blocked shots (160).
Tickets for the Capital Classic cost $20, with limited VIP seats available. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the National Cherry Blossom Festival and the Wounded Warrior Project.
