Overlea's Rollins named Ravens Coach of the Week

Craig Rollins, whose Overlea football team finished off a perfect regular season last week, has been named Ravens High School Coach of the Week.

In his second year as head coach, Rollins led the Falcons in a 33-0 win over Havre de Grace on Friday. At 10-0, the team enters the playoffs as a No. 1 seed in the Class 1A North Region and hosts Reginald F. Lewis (8-1) Friday night at 7.

It's the team's first playoff berth since 2006.

"It was just hard work and disciple and getting the boys focused on the offseason," Rollins said of the undefeated season in a news release. "We've also focused on academics to help them have the season that they needed."
