The No. 1 McDonogh girls soccer team, which captured its second straight Interscholastic Athletic Associarion of Maryland A Conference title and went 18-3 this fall, finished in the top 20 in the country in two national end-of-season polls.
The Eagles finished 18th in the ESPNHS Powerade Fab 50 final rankings and were ranked 20th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.
The Eagles went 10-0 in the IAAM A Conference, outscoring league opponents by a 43-2 margin.
