Outlook:
With the regular season winding down, the races in the Baltimore Catholic League and Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference are tight. Mount St. Joseph leads the BCL with an 11-2 mark, with John Carroll right behind at 9-3. In the MIAA, John Carroll holds down the top spot at 12-2 with the Gaels lurking at 12-3. Friday’s game will give the winner the upper hand with one week remaining in the regular season. In their Jan. 10 meeting at Mount St. Joseph, the Gaels enjoyed a 15-3 run in the third quarter to pull out a 69-57 win. Four Mount St. Joseph players scored in double figures, with Williams leading the way with 17 points.
