Brooks played a major role in Seton Keough winning a second straight Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland team championship earlier this winter.

Brooks, a senior who is headed to Wake Forest, won the triple and long jumps along with the 55 and 300 at the championship meet. She's the only IAAM athlete to ever win four individual events at the meet and score 40 points. Brooks was a team captain the past three seasons and a school record-holder in six different events.

She also was a national champion and All-American in the triple jump this winter. Away from the track, Brooks is class president at Seton Keough and an honor roll student.

Jim Lancaster
Seton Keough

Lancaster has built a solid indoor track program at Seton Keough. He led the Gators to their second Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland title in just their fifth season.

There were 20 athletes on the team when the program began, and Lancaster now has 38 on the balanced squad.

Seton Keough had suffered some tough losses to McDonogh during the season, but it rebounded to beat the Eagles in the championship meet.
