Glenelg debuts in state media football poll

Glenelg debuts at No. 24 in the Maryland High School Football Media State Poll this week after a 49-8 victory over Oakland Mills. The Gladiators have won five straight games since falling to No. 8 River Hill, 7-3, in the season opener.

Other than Glenelg's appearance, only two Baltimore-area teams changed position. River Hill, one of 13 undefeated teams in the Top 25, move up a spot from No. 9 after rolling over Wilde Lake, 33-0. Archbishop Curley fell from No. 21 to No. 25 after Monday's 28-21 loss to No. 19 St. Paul's.
