Four Baltimore area teams that qualified for the U.S. Youth Soccer National Championships, taking place this week in Tulsa, Oklahoma, have advanced through the preliminary round in their respective age divisions.
In under-13 play, Baltimore Celtic Darby went 3-0 in round-robin play to advance to the championship game, set to play California-based EC Real Galaxy on Saturday.
In under-15, Fewster FC finished 2-0-1 to claim the top seed in Group B and reach Saturday's semifinals, going up against Georgia's United FA 00 Premier.
Baltimore Celtic's under-16 team will face Virginia's Loudoun 98 Red in Saturday's semifinals after going 2-1 to take second place in Group A play.
In under-17, Baltimore Celtic went 2-1 to finish second in Group A and will take on Chicago Magic in Saturday's semifinal round.
The championship games for the last three age divisions will take place on Sunday.
