Football By the Numbers for Week 14

The weekend's state championships closed out another high school football season, with Franklin winning the Baltimore area's only championship for the second straight year. That extends the run to nine years an area team has won at least one football title. Baltimore has been shut out 13 times since the state tournament began in 1974 but only once since 2001.

In the final edition of By The Numbers for 2014, here's a look at the statistics that stood out from the state finals as well as a few from the season as a whole:
