Aquille Carr will soon be on his way to Canada.
The one-time Patterson star, who became a YouTube sensation for his feats on the basketball court, agreed to terms Friday night on a contract with the National Basketball League of Canada's Saint John Mill Rats.
Carr plans to travel to Saint John this week. The team has organized a meet-and-greet with fans on Wednesday.
"I'm glad they gave me the opportunity," Carr told The Sun last week. "I'm just going up there ready to just listen and be coachable and be a great player to the team. I just want to get out there."
The 3-year-old NBL has eight teams, which are split between the Central Division and the Atlantic Division. The Mill Rats (24-20) had the fifth-best record in the league last season. Their first game this season is Nov. 1.
