Dulaney senior forward Isaiah Lamb will be out for the remainder of the season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the Lions' 55-30 win over Parkville Friday.
Lamb was averaging 25 points, 11 rebounds and four assists for the No. 8 Lions, who are 10-2 on the season. Dulaney coach Matt Lochte said his standout will have surgery in a couple weeks.
"He was having an unbelievable season," Lochte said. "We're midway through the season and we're not going to try to reinvent the wheel. So, we're going to stick to what we do and the other guys will have to step up by committe to replace him."
Lamb, who has yet to commit, has received nine offers from mid-major Division I colleges with many others showing interest. Lamb remains a big influence on the team with his presence at practices and games.
"He's taking on more of a coaches' role with his leadership," Lochte said.
