When it comes to soccer, there's always been a healthy sibling rivalry between Tyler Lussi, a sophomore forward on the Princeton women's team, and her younger brother Morgan, a senior midfielder at St. Paul's.
So when Tyler heard from her brother that he finished with a whopping four goals and three assists in the Crusaders' 7-1 win at John Carroll on Friday, she was in disbelief and naturally tried to top it.
On Saturday, Tyler did all she could to lead the Tigers past Harvard, scoring four goals despite the team falling, 5-4.
In two games on back-to-back days, the Lussi siblings accounted for eight goals and three assists for their respective teams.
Growing up, the two were always playing soccer together and Tyler often trained with Morgan when he was playing on the Baltimore Bays and Celtic club teams.
Their father, Craig, also showed impressive aim -- with his video camera, as he caught every goal and assist covering two days he will never forget.
"You want to cheer," he said, "but then you know you can't move the camera."
