The Baltimore City Division I boys basketball championship game is set for Saturday Feb. 21 (8:30 p.m. at Morgan State) and the two spots are still very much in the air as the regular season winds down.
This season's new format, which features home and away games played between the seven league teams, has added suspense that will continue through the end of the regular season next week.
Four teams -- No. 2 Lake Clifton (15-2), No. 4 Patterson (14-3), No. 6 Edmondson (14-4) and No. 14 City (15-4) -- still have an opportunity to get an invitation to the title game.
Here's a look at the current league standings with remaining league games (all remaining league games are 5:15 p.m. starts).
Edmondson (8-2) -- vs. Patterson, Tuesday; at City, Friday
Lake Clifton (7-2) -- vs. City, Tuesday; at Poly, Friday; vs. Digital Harbor, Feb. 17
