Gilman and Calvert Hall held onto their spots in the Top 5 in the final regular season ESPN High School Maryland football media poll. The Greyhounds are No. 1 behind top-ranked Good Counsel while Calvert Hall is No. 4 behind No. 3 Quince Orchard
Also holding onto Top 10 positions: No. 6 Old Mill, No. 7 Atholton and No. 10 Poly. Catonsville moved up a spot to No. 12 and Dunbar jumped one to No. 14 while Arundel stuck at No. 16. McDonogh dropped three spots to No. 22 and Archbishop Spalding fell one to No. 23.
With the playoffs beginning this weekend, the media poll will take a break until after the Dec. 2 and 3 state championships when there will be one final poll.
