Anne Arundel Prep Roundup for Feb. 22: Skye Bilger from South River is top finisher at the 4A/3A Swimming championships

Skye Bilger from South River tied for fifth in 100 backstroke and finished 10th in the 500 freestyle, while Emma Baca from Annapolis finished ninth in the 200 individual medley as the Seahawks girls finished in 17th and the Panthers girls came in 19th at the 4A/3A State Swimming championships on Saturday.

Madeline Goger from Severna Park came in 15th place in the 200 freestyle to score for the Falcons, who came in 14th place as a team, the highest in the county.

Will Redford from Annapolis touched in 11th place in the 50 freestyle and teammate Eoin Lenham was 12th in the 100 freestyle as the Panthers boys topped all county schools, finishing in 14th.

Tyler Moran from Severna Park tied for eighth place in the 100 freestyle and 14th in the 100 backstroke, while Andrew Gillespie took 16th in the 100 breast stroke as the falcons boys finished in 16th place.

Matt Tilghman from Broadneck was 15th in the 500 freestyle as the Bruins boys finished in 20th place.

Natasha Paciello from Chesapeake made the podium in the 3A/2A/1A meet, finishing eighth in the 100 butterfly with a career best time of 1:0168 as the Cougars girls finished in 21st place.
