WATCH: Tiger Woods quadruple bogeys famous 17th hole at The Players Championship

Tiger Woods struggled to land on the famous "Island Green" of the 17th hole at The Players Championship during his second round on Friday.

Woods' tee shot barely rolled over the green, slipping into the water. After taking a drop, his third shot took a big bounce on the green and landed in the water on the next hop.

Even after hitting all seven fairways on the front nine (Woods played the back nine first), Woods carded a one-over par for his first nine holes. He is one-under for the tournament.

Currently, Kevin Kisner sits atop the leaderboard at eight-under par.
