Two-time PGA Tour major champion John Daly has committed to playing in the Constellation Senior Players Championship at Caves Valley in Owings Mills this summer, the tournanment announced Thursday.
The fourth major championship of the PGA Tour Champions season will be held July 11-16. Daly, 51, is in his second full season on the Champions tour after finishing tied for 49th at The Philadelphia Cricket Club in his debut March 2016.
Daly earned his first career Champions victory at the Insperity Invitational in March by one stroke over Tommy Armour III and Kenny Perry. The five-time PGA Tour winner has won two majors — the 1991 PGA Championship and the 1995 British Open.
