Maryland fans will get their first opportunity to see the Terps under the leadership of coach DJ Durkin at the team's annual Red-White spring football game, which will take place at 12:30 p.m. on April 16 at Maryland Stadium, the school announced Thursday.

The spring game will be followed at 4 p.m. by a matchup between the No. 4 Maryland men's lacrosse team against Rutgers.

Admission to the spring game will be free, and there will be giveaways for the first 5,000 fans in attendance. After the game, there will be an autograph session with Durkin and the Terps at a "fan fest" on the concourse at Maryland Stadium.

Maryland hired Durkin in December after a 3-9 season in 2015.
