OL Damian Prince back atop depth chart for Maryland

Redshirt freshman Damian Prince is slated to start at right tackle for Maryland in the Terps' matchup against Indiana on Saturday, according to the team's depth chart released Monday. Prince started at No. 13 Michigan State last weekend after his missed the previous two games with an ankle injury he suffered against Penn State on Oct. 24.

"I thought Damian did well," interim coach Mike Locksley said Sunday. "He had a tough matchup against [Shilique Calhoun]. He was on him most of the day, quite a bit. I thought for the most part he held his own, and obviously, we all need to do a bit better on the offensive side of the ball of executing more consistently, but I thought Damian played OK."

Prince's return once again gives Maryland its projected starting lineup, on paper at least, at offensive line with junior Michael Dunn at left tackle, senior Ryan Doyle at left guard, senior Evan Mulrooney at center, senior Andrew Zeller at right guard and Prince at right tackle.

However, Dunn suffered a high-ankle sprain against Michigan State, and as of Sunday, Locksley was expecting to know more about Dunn's status on Monday.

Sophomore JaJuan Dulaney is listed as Dunn's backup at left tackle, while redshirt freshman Derwin Gray, who was dealing with an ankle/Achilles injury the past two weeks, is listed as Prince's backup at right tackle. Doyle can also play either tackle position.

Elsewhere on the depth chart, senior Brandon Ross is back at starting running back after junior Wes Brown was suspended indefinitely Monday evening. Freshman Ty Johnson, who hyperextended his left knee against the Spartans, is listed as Ross' backup.

Junior DeAndre Lane, who Locksley said suffered a mid-foot sprain, is on the depth chart as redshirt junior Levern Jacobs' backup at wide receiver.

After the punting woes against Michigan State, freshman Nicolas Pritchard is still listed as the starter ahead of redshirt freshman Lee Shrader. Locksley said Sunday he expected the pair to compete this week for the starting job.
