Megan Taylor (Glenelg) had 11 saves and a .733 save percentage. The Terps (19-1) caused 17 turnovers and numerous shot-clock violations.
Caroline Steele (Severn) added four goals, Jen Giles (Mount Hebron) had three and and Meghan Siverson chipped in two for Maryland, which hosts Navy in the quarterfinals Saturday at noon.
Zoe Belodeau had two goals and two assists for Penn.

No. 2 seed North Carolina 17, Virginia Tech 8: The host Tar Heels (16-3) got multiple goals from six players to beat the Hokies (14-7) and advance to the NCAA quarterfinals for the 14th consecutive season.
Marie McCool had two goals and three assists for North Carolina, which hosts Northwestern on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Paige Petty scored three goals for Virginia Tech.
No. 4 Boston College 16, Princeton 10: Tess Chandler and Kaileen Hart each scored five goals and Sam Apuzzo tied her own school record with her 80th goal of the season to carry the host Eagles (20-1) over the Tigers (13-6) in the second round.
Tess D’Orsi and Elizabeth George each scored three goals for Princeton.
No. 3 seed James Madison 15, Virginia 12: Haley Warden and Kristen Gaudian each scored four goals, and the host Dukes used a six-goal run to bridge the halves and a 3-1 run over the final 8:21 to surge past the Cavaliers (10-10) in the second round.
Avery Shoemaker and Sammy Mueller each scored four goals for Virginia.
James Madison will host No. 6 seed Florida in the quarterfinals Saturday at 1 p.m.
No. 6 seed Florida 13, Colorado 9: After falling behind 5-0 to start the game, the host Gators (17-3) used an 8-0 to surge past the Buffaloes (14-6) in the second round.
Shayna Pirreca scored four goals to lead Florida.
Carly Cox had three goals for Colorado.
Salisbury 19, Meredith 11: Gabrielle Mongno and Emma Skoglund combined for six first-half goals, and 10 in the game, to lead the host Sea Gulls (19-1) over the Avenging Angels (16-5) in the second round of the NCAA Division III tournament.
Salisbury will face Denison, a 21-4 winner over Calvin, in the third round Saturday.
Austin French had three goals and three assists for Denver (13-3), which will play at No. 2 seed Albany in the quarterfinals Saturday.
