The Atlantic Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week totaled six points on three goals and three assists in the top-ranked Blue Devils’ 15-14 win against No. 4 Syracuse on March 25 in their league opener. Sowers had a hand in all three of Duke’s goals in the second half, assisting on a goal that tied the score at 14-14 with 5:47 left in the fourth quarter and scoring the game-winner with 3:25 remaining. The Patriot League Midfielder of the Week paved the way for the Terriers to roll to a 17-12 victory over Holly Cross on Saturday. Barry won 18 draw controls, including 16 in the first half to eclipse the program’s previous single-game record of 13 shared by Danielle Etrasco and Jill Horka. The 18 draw controls are the most by a Division I player in a game this season, and she ranks 10th in the country in draw controls per game (8.0). In that victory, Barry also compiled career highs in goals (three), assists (three) and goals (six).
