No. 2 Maryland (12-1)

Comment: The Terps trail, 40-70-1, in their series with the Blue Jays and have split the last six meetings. Senior attackman Jay Carlson (St. Paul's), who was named the Big Ten's Offensive Player of the Week, scored his 80th career goal with his game-winning tally in Saturday's 10-9 overtime victory at No. 11 Ohio State and leads the conference with four game-winning goals.

No. 15 Navy (8-4)

Comment: The Midshipmen snapped a six-game losing skid to the Black Knights in a 10-7 victory on April 11. Sophomore defenseman Chris Fennell, who ranks second on the team in caused turnovers (16) and third in ground balls (37), joins Jordan DiNola as the only Midshipmen to win Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year honors.

No. 16 Towson (9-4)

Coming up: At Drexel, Saturday, 1 p.m.

Comment: The Tigers enjoy an overwhelming 38-9 advantage in this Colonial Athletic Association series, but the Dragons have won the last two contests and five of the past six. Sophomore faceoff specialist Alec Burckley has already set career highs in faceoff wins (93), attempts (184) and ground balls (43).

Comment: The Blue Jays have not lost to the Terps in College Park since April 14, 2001, winning in their last five visits there. The 18 faceoffs that senior Drew Kennedy, who earned Big Ten Specialist of the Week honors, won in Saturday's 16-9 victory over Michigan were tied for the third-highest single-game total of his career.

Loyola Maryland (7-8)

Comment: The Greyhounds suffered their first losing record in coach Charley Toomey's 10-year tenure. Senior attackman Nikko Pontrello is just the eighth player in program history to rank in the all-time top 15 in goals (13th with 91), assists (11th with 64) and points (tied for ninth with 155).

Mount St. Mary's (4-9)

Comment: The Mountaineers dropped their only meeting with the Statesmen, falling, 8-5, on March 29, 2014. Freshman goalkeeper Matt Vierheller ranks eighth in save percentage (.573) and 15th in goals-against average (8.24) and is tied for 22nd in saves per game (10.4).

UMBC (5-7)

Coming up: At No. 7 Albany, Saturday, 3 p.m.

Comment: The Retrievers hold a slight 10-9 lead in this America East series, but the Great Danes have won the last five games. After a five-goal effort in Saturday's 13-7 victory over UMass Lowell, junior attackman Nate Lewnes (St. Mary's) reached 30 goals and became the sixth player in the program's Division I history to record back-to-back 30-goal campaigns.
