Outlook: The Eagles’ 13-12 victory over the Orange in last spring’s regular-season finale extended their winning streak over their Atlantic Coast Conference rivals to three games. The last time Syracuse failed to open a season with three straight victories was 2013.

The St. Mary’s graduate finished 21-for-28 on faceoffs, a game-high 17 ground balls, and one goal and one assist in Saturday’s 17-8 upset of then-No. 7 Johns Hopkins. Woodall was named the Colonial Athletic Association’s Player of the Week.

WOMEN

Madison Carter, Penn State

Davidsonville, attacker, senior

The South River graduate compiled four goals and one assist in Saturday’s 13-7 victory over then-No. 14 Towson. Carter became the 15th player in program history to reach the 200-point level with 202 points on 184 goals and 18 assists.
