NO. 12 BROWN MEN (8-2, 2-1) @ NO. 7 YALE (8-2, 2-2)
When: Saturday, 12:30 p.m.
Outlook: With six Ivy League teams with two losses or fewer in conference play, securing one of four berths in the league tournament could be a war of attrition, and these two are in the thick of the race. The Bears had won three straight contests before getting upset by Penn, 14-11, on Saturday, but have Division I's leading goal-scorer in sophomore attackman Dylan Molloy (44 goals). The Bulldogs are riding a three-game winning streak and will rely on senior attackman Conrad Oberbeck (28 goals and 13 assists) to set the pace on offense.
NO. 5 NORTHWESTERN WOMEN (8-3) @ NO. 7 STONY BROOK (11-1)
When: Sunday, noon
Outlook: The Seawolves suffered their first loss of the season Tuesday, 7-5, at Johns Hopkins, and they aim to bounce back with what would be the biggest win in the program's history if they can beat the Wildcats. Three weeks ago, Stony Brook earned the program's first victory over a top-10 team, taking down Florida, 12-11. That's the only time the Seawolves, who allow an average of 4.92 goals per game, gave up more than seven goals. Northwestern has lost only to the top three teams, but has won four games by a single goal — two in overtime.
