College lacrosse roundup (April 20): Tellekamp's seven goals propel Towson women past Hofstra, 15-11

Carly Tellekamp scored a game-high seven goals to lead No. 6 Towson to a 15-11 victory over visiting Hofstra Friday.

The Tigers (13-2, 5-0 Colonial Athletic Association) took an 8-4 lead at the half over the Pride (8-7, 2-3).


Mount St. Mary's 14, Sacred Heart 9: Marley Heller (Perry Hall) and Alayna Pagnotta (Glenelg) each scored four goals to lead the visiting Mount (7-6, 2-2 Northeast Conference ) past the Pioneers (2-11, 2-2). Mount St. Mary's outscored Sacred Heart, 9-4, in the second half.

Johns Hopkins 13, Ohio State 5: Maggie Schneidereith (Towson) had four goals to lead the host Blue Jays (9-6, 2-3 Big Ten) past the Buckeyes (5-10, 1-5). Hopkins trailed 3-0 before scoring nine straight.


College of New Jersery 10, Salisbury 1: Emma Skoglund had the lone goal for the visiting Sea Gulls (14-1).

No. 2 Albany 18, Binghamton 7: Tehoka Nanticoke had three goals to lead the host Great Danes (11-1, 4-1 America East ) past the Bearcats (4-10, 1-4).

No. 3 Duke 17, Marquette 5: Justin Guterding had six goals to lead the host Blue Devils (12-2) past the Golden Eagles (6-6). Duke scored 11 straight.

Nation women

No. 13 Colorado 19, Oregon 9: The host Buffaloes (12-4, 9-1 Pac-12) won their fifth straight.
