College lacrosse roundup (April 19): Retrievers men edged by Quakers, 8-7

Connor Keating scored the game-winner with 4:15 left as the Penn men's lacrosse team beat host UMBC, 8-7, on Tuesday.

Max Haldeman (three goals) tied the game for the Retrievers (3-9) at 7 with 8:07 left to play. The Quakers improved to 7-5.

Bryant 12, Mount St. Mary's 7: Mark Hojnoski had a hat trick, but the visiting Mount (5-7, 1-3 Northeast Conference) lost its fourth straight.

Frostburg State 20, Mary Washington 13: Tate Rolland scored five goals to lead the host Bobcats (15-3) past the Eagles (7-10) in the first round of the Capital Athletic Conference tournament.
