Lacrosse roundup: Loyola men fall to Bucknell in OT

Sean Doyle scored the game-winning goal on an assist by David Dickinson as host Bucknell upset No. 17 Loyola Maryland, 10-9, in overtime Friday night.

The Bison (8-5, 5-3 Patriot League) forced overtime when Will Sands scored with 24 seconds left in the game. The Greyhounds fell to 7-7, 5-3.

Mount St. Mary's 7, Sacred Heart 6: Freshman Nicole Lantuh scored a game-high four goals, including the game-winner with 3:38 left, to carry the host Mount (4-9, 3-1 Northeast Conference) past the Pioneers (5-8, 1-3).

No. 5 Stony Brook 13, UMBC 7: Carolyn Jamison (Westminster) had three goals, but the host Retrievers (8-7, 3-2 America East) fell behind 8-2 in the first half and never recovered. Courtney Murphy had four goals for the Seawolves (14-1, 5-0.)

No. 20 James Madison 15, Towson 5: Andi Raymond had four goals and one assist in a losing effort as the Tigers (7-7, 2-3 Colonial Athletic Association) fell to the host Dukes (11-4, 3-1).

Colgate 8, No. 18 Army West Point 5: Ryan Walsh had four goals and the Raiders (8-4, 6-2 Patriot League) handed the host Black Knights (8-5, 4-4) their second straight loss.

No. 20 Princeton 12, Harvard 11: The host Crimson (6-7, 1-4 Ivy League) put together a 4-0 rally in the fourth quarter but lost to the Tigers (8-4, 4-1).

No. 2 North Carolina 12, No. 3 Duke 6: Aly Messinger and Sammy Jo Tracy scored three goals each to lead the Tar Heels (13-2, 6-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) past the host Blue Devils (13-2, 5-2).

North Carolina claimed the regular-season title with the win.

No. 6 Virginia 17, Virginia Tech 10: Casey Bocklet had six goals and Liza Blue (Garrison Forest) had four goals to power the host Cavaliers (11-5, 4-3 ACC) past the Hokies (6-10, 0-7).

No. 19 Albany 17, Binghamton 5: Rachel Bowles had five goals to lead the Great Danes (12-2, 4-1 America East) past the host Bearcats (6-10, 1-5).
