Last year's Big Ten Freshman of the Year led the No. 15 Wildcats back from the brink of missing the NCAA Tournament when she scored a career-high eight goals in a 22-13 win over then-No. 14 Ohio State. To make the tournament, a team must have at least a .500 record and the win gave Northwestern an 8-8 record. If they can win their Big Ten Tournament opener vs. Michigan, they would be eligible for their 13th straight tournament bid. Lasota scored five of her goals in the second half – tying the most goals by a Big Ten player this season – and also had an assist, six draw controls and three caused turnovers. She is second among the Wildcats in scoring with 41 goals and seven assists.
