Farmingdale, N.Y., senior, defense
The veteran led a stifling defensive effort in Saturday's 14-4 victory at No. 2 Florida. The previously unbeaten Gators averaged 13.8 goals going into the game but managed just one goal and three shots in the final 25:55 against the No. 1 Terps. She had two caused turnovers and a career-high five ground balls while holding Florida's leading scorer, McDonogh graduate Sammi Burgess, without a goal. Her unit allowed the Gators just one free-position shot in the game. Hadnagy leads the Big Ten in ground balls with 2.83 per game, which is also the most of any player on a top 10 team.
