Injuries have slowed Thompson, but the 2014 Tewaaraton Award co-winner is still dangerous. The 6-foot, 180-pound Thompson registered a career-high 12 points in the No. 11 Great Danes' 17-15 victory over Stony Brook on Saturday. His 10 assists were a single-game school record. His 12-point performance was the second-highest single-game total in program history, trailing his older brother Miles' 14 against the Seawolves on April 27, 2013. Lyle Thompson, named the America East Conference Player of the Week, has 304 career points, an Albany record.
