The 5-foot-9, 180-pound attackman scored 10 goals in the Retrievers' 15-14 overtime loss to No. 4 Albany on Saturday. After scoring two goals in the first quarter, Lewnes scored three in the third and five in the fourth. He scored five times during a 6-0 run, including the game-tying goal with 1:10 left. Lewnes' outburst marked the biggest output by a Division I player this season. Lewnes, who leads the country in average goals (3.9) despite sitting out three games because of mononucleosis, finished his career ranked fifth on the school's all-time goals list with 119.
