L is for league races. The ECAC is improved as a group in 2012 with Fairfield, Loyola and Ohio State recording quality wins last week. The CAA is wide-open; five teams look like logical NCAA tournament candidates (Massachusetts, Penn State, Delaware, Hofstra and Drexel). Cornell is favored in the Ivy League but will be pressed by Penn, Yale, Harvard and Princeton. The Big East has its big three with Syracuse, Villanova and Notre Dame.
