Series: Villanova leads, 6-4

What's at stake: Coming off a 21-19 victory over Elon last week, Towson will try to extend its Colonial Athletic Association winning streak to three for the first time since 2012. A 10-9 loss to then-No. 13 Richmond last week dropped Villanova from No. 4 to No. 7 in The Sports Network's Football Championship Subdivision poll. But the Wildcats trail CAA leader and No. 2 New Hampshire (7-1, 5-0) by just one game in the standings and will be eager to avenge their first loss since Aug. 29.

Key matchup: Towson running back Darius Victor leads the conference in rushing yards (950) and rushing touchdowns (nine). The redshirt sophomore needs just 50 yards to become the ninth player in program history to run for 1,000 yards in a season. But Victor will tangle with a Villanova defense that has surrendered an average of 95.7 yards rushing and has allowed just one opposing back (Syracuse's Prince-Tyson Gulley) to run for 100 yards in a game.

Player to watch: Villanova junior quarterback John Robertson ranks in the top eight in five FCS statistical categories including passing touchdowns (second at 26), yards per attempt (third at 9.3) and completion percentage (eighth at 67.0 percent). Robertson has also rushed for 586 yards and five touchdowns, and he gained 150 yards with three scores in a 45-35 win against Towson last season.
