Chase Litton completed 13 of his 16 passes for 309 yards with six first-half touchdown passes and host Marshall cruised past Morgan State, 62-0, on Saturday night.

Four of the six throws that went for scores were from 30-plus yards. Michael Clark caught two touchdown passes, and Deon-Tay McManus, Emanuel Byrd, Justin Hunt and Ryan Yuracheck each added one.


Tony Pittman carried nine times for 81 yards and touchdown for the Thundering Herd, which piled up 530 yards of total offense and forced four Morgan State fumbles.

Marshall scored 21 points in the first and 28 in the second for a 49-0 lead at the half.

The Herd has won 27 straight when leading at the break.

DeAndre Harris threw for 91 yards for the Bears (0-2).

Stevenson 31, Albright 26: The Mustangs defense had four takeaways, including three interceptions, and held off a late rally after scoring 31 straight points.

The Lions are the defending Middle Atlantic Conference champions.

Visiting Stevenson (2-0, 1-0 MAC) forced a turnover for the 35th straight game and has nine interceptions in the first two weeks of the season.

The Mustangs found themselves in an early 13-0 hole against Albright (0-2, 0-1 MAC) after a 24-yard field goal by Andrew Goetz 1:25 into the second quarter.


Johns Hopkins 41, Susquehanna 7: The Blue Jays defense came within 56 seconds of its first shutout in four years and Hopkins' offense had 555 yards of total offense en route to a victory over the host River Hawks (0-2, 0-1 Centennial Conference).

Johns Hopkins, ranked 11th in the most recent D3football.com poll, improved to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in conference.

The Blue Jays had 306 yards of total offense in the first half.

Wesley 49, Frostburg State 7: The host Wolverines (1-1, 1-0 Capital Athletic Conference) dominated the Bobcats (1-1, 0-1).

Wesley built a 29-0 lead in the first half. Frostburg responded late in the second quarter as Connor Cox capped a seven-play, 59-yard drive with a 2-yard touchdown run in the first half.

Moravian 55, McDaniel 27: Isaac Murray had a 90-yard kickoff return in the first quarter to tie the score at seven, but the Green Terror (0-2, 0-1 Centennial Conference) fell to the host Greyhounds (2-0, 1-0).


Bowie State 52, Johnson C.Smith 0: The host Bulldogs (1-1) held the Golden Bulls (0-2) to six first downs and 98 total offensive yards.

Antoine Young got Bowie State started with a 70-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown with 11:37 left in the first quarter.

Maurice Williams had 13 carries for 154 yards and two touchdowns.
