Thomas Jefferson rushed for 141 yards on 25 carries with a touchdown and host Delaware beat Towson, 20-6, on Saturday.

Jefferson's 40-yard touchdown run midway through the fourth quarter provided the final margin. The Blue Hens (3-5, 1-4 Colonial Athletic Association) had 243 yards on the ground, with Jalen Randolph providing 76 yards on 19 carries and Joe Walker adding 35 yards on nine carries.


Wide receiver Diante Cherry threw a 21-yard touchdown pass to Randolph in the second quarter to put Delaware up 7-3. Frank Raggo added field goals of 30 and 33 yards.

Delaware had four interceptions, with Ryan Torzsa catching two.

Towson (1-7, 0-5) got field goals from Aiden O'Neill of 27 and 21 yards. The Tigers were outgained 308-206.

Norfolk State 27, Morgan State 14: Greg Hankerson threw for three touchdowns as the host Spartans (2-6, 1-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) picked up their first conference win, beating the Bears (2-5, 2-3).

Hankerson had 219 passing yards for Norfolk State, and also led in rushing with 59yards on 12 carries. Chuma Awanna had two catches for 66 yards and a touchdown, and Cameron Marouf kicked two field goals.

DeAndre Harris threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns for the Bears.

Johns Hopkins 42, Ursinus 7: Jonathan Germano threw for a career-high six touchdowns and a personal-best 443 yards to lead the visiting Blue Jays (8-0, 7-0 Centennial Conference) past the Bears (1-7, 1-6).

The six touchdown passes are one short of the Hopkins single-game record, and his 443 yards are tied for fourth most in school history.

The Blue Jays have won 35 straight conference games, 39 straight regular-season games and 23 straight in October.

McDaniel 20, Juniata 13: With the game tied at 13, Bamasa Bailor caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Will Koester with 4:16 left to lift the Green Terror (3-5, 3-4 Centennial) over the host Eagles (4-4, 3-4).

McDaniel's Spencer Wiersberg made field goals of 26 and 30 yards.

Frostburg State 24, Rowan 14: The host Bobcats (7-1, 6-1 New Jersey Athletic Conference) went on a 12-0 run in the fourth quarter in a come-from-behind victory over the Profs (5-3, 4-3).

Isaac Robinson made a 22-yard field goal to give Frostburg State a 15-14 lead with 12:55 left in the game.

Stevenson 41, King's (Pa.) 20: Devonte Williams rushed for 203 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Dontea Ayres rushed for three touchdowns as the visiting Mustangs (8-0, 7-0 Middle Atlantic Conference) beat the Lions (4-4, 4-3).


Salisbury 45, Christopher Newport 24: Ryan Jones went 6-for-12 for 99 yards and threw two touchdown passes and ran for a score to lead the Sea Gulls (7-1, 6-1 NJAC) past the host Captains (5-3, 4-3).

Bowie State 41, Lincoln (Pa.) 23: Amir Hall rushed for two touchdowns and threw two touchdown passes to power the visiting Bulldogs (6-3, 5-1 Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association) past the host Lions (1-8, 0-6).

Hall was 21-for-34 for 294 passing yards and had eight carries for 87 yards.
