Redshirt sophomore quarterback Morgan Mahalak threw for 165 yards in his debut for the Tigers (0-1).
Mahalak, who spent two years at Oregon before transferring to Towson, completed a 56-yard pass to Christian Summers to set up the first of two touchdown runs by Victor, who finished with 70 yards on 23 carries and became the fourth Tiger to eclipse the 3,000-yard mark on an 8-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
Redshirt freshman Shane Simpson had 229 yards on eight kickoff returns to set a single-game record for the program.
Quinton Flowers threw for 178 yards and two touchdowns and also scored on runs of 5 and 7 yards for the Bulls (1-0). Two-time AAC rushing champion Marlon Mack ran for 58 yards and a touchdown.
Catholic 28, McDaniel 21, OT: The Cardinals rallied to defeat the visiting Green Terror in overtime in the season opener for both teams in Washington.
McDaniel (0-1) led 21-6 before Catholic (1-0) scored twice over the final 8:43 of regulation to tie.
Ray Doh led the Green Terror on defense with seven tackles, including two for loss, and two pass breakups. John Chamberlin had 15 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown.
